Mike Taylor, Pastor
On Sunday, February 5, 2012, our church unanimously voted to call Mike Taylor as pastor. Mike began preaching the Gospel in September, 1973, and has served as pastor in churches in Missouri, Alabama, Georgia and California. He also worked for Larry Burkett at Christian Financial Concepts from 1993 to 2001. After serving as a senior pastor from 2001-2006, the Lord called him into regional church planting with the Chattahoochee Baptist Association. Mike is married to the former Allison Yarbrough and they have 2 children, Chris and Catherine, and are blessed with four grandchildren. His hobbies include golf, dogs, and competitive running.

Jeff Walker
Minister of Music/Education
Jeff Walker joined our staff in September, 2008. He has lived in Belle Chasse, Louisiana all of his life and has been on staff in churches in the New Orleans area for the past 20 years. He has also held several positions as band director in schools throughout this area. Jeff received his B.A. in Music from William Carey College and his Masters of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Nancy Kelly and they have two daughters, Emily and Jennifer.

Justin Lewallen
Minister to Students
Justin Lewallen is currently serving as our Minister to Students. He is 27 years old. Justin and his wife, Alicia, have been married over 7 years and have two sons, Caleb Daniel (3) and Joshua Daniel (born March 1, 2011). Justin also works part-time with UPS. Justin and Alicia are both extremely excited about what God has planned for the students at Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Linda Smith
Administrative Assistant
Linda Smith has been our administrative assistant for 29 years. She is a native of Jefferson Georgia. She received her A.S. degree from Gainesville College where she met her husband, Stan. Linda worked at the University of Georgia and the Gainesville Office of Pardons & Paroles before coming to Flat Creek. She and Stan have been members of Flat Creek Baptist Church for over 32 years. They have three children; Staci, Lindsey and Robby and five grandchildren.
