to call Rev. Mike Taylor to be our next pastor!

I covenant to pray with our Pastor Search Committee. 
I will pray that God will give our committee wisdom,
patience and unity in finding the pastor that God
already has for us.  I will also pray for our church
as we go through this transitional period.  I will pray
all this in Jesus' name.

COMMITTEE HAS MET WITH INTERIM PASTOR REV. MIKE TAYLOR AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO FOR GUIDANCE THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS COMMITTEE IS REVIEWING RESUMES AND NARROWING SEARCH                                                                 The Committee has unanimously recommended Mike Taylor to move from our Interim Pastor to becoming our Full Time Pastor.  Although we all know and love Pastor Mike, we must still go by the by-laws for the approval process.  Watch your mail box, email and the weekly bulletin for updates and schedules.  We hope to have Mike in place in February and are very excited to watch God continue to work thru him at Flat Creek!        
 
January 18th     Letter mailed to congregation announcing Committee selection of Mike Taylor as pastor
January 22 and 29     Announcement to be listed in the Sunday bulletin
January 29       Following morning service, "Meet and Greet with Mike and Allison Taylor"
January 29       Called conference for Evening service for discussion with Pastor Search Committee
February 5       Morning service, written vote for approval of Mike Taylor as full time Pastor.  75% required
