My family and I moved to Flat Creek Baptist Church in January of 2005.

We moved to the foothills from the flatlands of Quitman in south Georgia near Valdosta.

My wife, Sharon, and I were married on December 27, 1987 and

we have four children, Trey, Ben, and our twin girls, Beth and Debra.

 

After working in television production and education until I was 33,

God took this bi-vocational music minister and turned him into a full-time pastor.

I received a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 1999.

 

God has truly blessed me by sending me to Flat Creek Baptist Church.

In 1996, when He called me to preach, I never thought that I would wind up

in such a wonderful place with such tremendous people. Flat Creek Baptist Church

is indeed a very special church and I encourage you to come visit with us.

Jeff Walker joined our staff in September, 2008. He has lived in Belle Chasse, Louisiana all of his life and has been on staff in churches in the New Orleans area for the past 20 years. He has also held several positions as band director in schools throughout this area. Jeff received his B.A. in Music from William Carey College and his Masters of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Nancy Kelly and they have two daughters, Emily and Jennifer.

Justin Lewallen is currently serving as our Minister to Students. He is 24 years old. Justin and his wife, Alicia, have been married for 3 years and have one son, Caleb Daniel, born August 10, 2009. Justin also works part-time with UPS. Justin and Alicia are both extremely excited about what God has planned for the students at Flat Creek Baptist Church.
